For students learning guitar
About
String School brings practice, progress, skills, games, and song structure into one student-friendly place so learning feels less abstract and more hands-on.
Built for the browser and for mobile, students can open String School on the web or use the companion app from Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Developed by a guitar teacher with more than 15 years of experience, it is shaped by real lessons, real practice challenges, and the small breakthroughs that keep students moving forward.
String School is currently in private beta and will be opening more broadly soon.

Works in your browser
For the smoothest experience, we recommend using String School on a tablet, laptop, or desktop screen. Some features like the Virtual Fretboard are not fully supported on smaller mobile screens due to limited real-estate.

STRING SCHOOL PRO
Students taking lessons with a String School instructor get full access to String School for free. It connects practice tools with the lesson workflow, so scheduling, communication, invoices, assignments, songs, and progress all live together.
For students, that means fewer scattered messages and clearer next steps. For instructors, it means studio tools that stay connected to the music students are actually working on.

Instructors can manage lesson scheduling, billing, and invoice workflows from the same platform students use to practice.
Teachers and students can message each other directly from the tab player in relation to specific songs or song sections.
Messages, schedule updates, invoices, song activity, and practice progress roll into one place so nothing gets buried.
